Приветсвую мастеров.
в sysutils есть функция ExtractFileName.
никак не могу понять зачем она нужна, кто сможет объяснить?
Дело в том что мня вводи в заблуждение
ExtractFileName("calc.exe") выводит calc.exe
т.е. в нее передается параметр FileName и она выводит filename... и? зачем она тогда нужна то?

The resulting string is the rightmost characters of FileName, starting with the first character after the colon or backslash that separates the path information from the name and extension. The resulting string is equal to FileName if FileName contains no drive and directory parts.

з.ы. Попробуй ввести "D:\filepath\filename.exe"
