Audigy supports VST plugins. Check that out. VST plugins in Delphi are (somewhat!) easy. www.tobybear.de

Made a mistake.
(GSM is not a good medium to answer posts)
Audigy supports ASIO, and you can use that for VST plugins (and so:volume control).
This is not easy. I have several examples for it if you are prepared for some study. I worked with tobybear to translate it to KOL. Tobias has all the code necessary on his website. see previous answer. Also: www.dsp-worx.de has code to do the same with directsound. (Some may prefer this, but I still think ASIO is better)
