You are using them by default, if you mean the kol library functions. You have to explicitly select PAS_VERSION for the pascal functions.
For FPC, they are turned off, because the calling convention for Freepascal is slightly different (and still a bit buggy) from Delphi.

...не использовать PAS-версии...:)
не применяй нигде PAS_VERSION - и везде где возможно у тебя будут ASM версии...

"You are using them by default" means you are using them always, unless you define PAS_VERSION. ECM pointed out I was not clear, but it means the same.
