Вопрос по TMemoryStream

В KOL для PStream есть замечательная функция
Stream:=NewExMemoryStream(Pointer,Size);
Вопрос в следующем можно ли для класса TMemoryStream сделать нечто подобное те передаем в ф-цию указатель и длинну каконить переменной и работаем с ней как с потоком.

Note: Memory is a read-only property. Memory can be used to change the contents of the memory, but to set the actual memory the stream works with, descendants of TCustomMemoryStream must assign a pointer to a memory buffer by calling the SetPointer method.

а что, у NewExMemoryStream закрытый код? создай экземпляр TMemoryStream вместо PStream!
