Только что установил BCB6 enterprise, вместо триалки которая у меня до этого была. Установил Update4. Надеялся это избавит от проблемы [Linker Error] Fatal: Access violation.  Link terminated.
Да не тут то было. Эта ошибка прет с первой попытки компиляции.

Закинул в папку bin старый линкер из триалки. И все заработало 8|

Что за проблемы у Борланда за такие серьезные, что даже к четвертому апдейту они не смогли линкер пофиксить??? : \

The problem disappears when I go to Project/Options/Linker and turn off the Map File generation.

It seems I"ve found the solution to that problem.
All the incriminated units were using directly or indirectly the file called JclResources.pas from the JCL library (upon which the JVCL is dependent).
This unit only contains resourcestrings and no code at all.
Somehow, somebody put a WEAKPACKAGEUNIT compilation directive at the beginning of this unit and this made the linker crash.
I removed it rebuilt all the packages and all components are now working fine.
So the error wasn"t really on Borland"s side but one thing is for sure: the crash of the linker doesn"t really provide a good error message !

I too am having problems with this update. My BCB6 IDE is frequently coming up with "Linker Access Error" when I try to build a project. When this happens I have to close the project I"m working on and then re-open it.

УУУУФФФФФ.

Только что удалил с зажатим Shift`ом RXLib со своего компа.
Оказалось я полгода мучаюсь именно из-за нее.
Как только заменил все RXFloatEdit`ы на MyFloatEdit все проблемы с линковкой исчезли :)))))
Балин. Наконец то.

А кто нибудь еще счтитае RX кривым? :)
