есть ли какой-нибудь xml парсер для KOL. Проблема такова: есть файл (xml). надо его разобрать и вывести содежимое с виде таблиц.(нечто вроде каталога).

Yes, but kolxml is more written as a lightweight xmlwriter. I am adapting it on request of dodfr to be able to do simple reading. It will always be a subset, but the purpose mentioned will be possible.
Meanwhile, it is possible to use the MS XML COM objects with KOL (use tlb2kol) with full xml support. Note this is not very well suited for D6 and D7, because of the variants.pas codebloat.

kolxml is a nice start but there is no way to save created xml document, (or I did not find it in the source).

I think taddy is working on improved version.
