Почему-то при компиляции примера из комплекта модулей Indy for KOL вываливаются ошибки типа
[Error] KOLClasses.pas(501): Identifier redeclared: "Data"
[Error] KOLClasses.pas(503): Undeclared identifier: "CustomData"
и т.д. много раз. В чем может быть дело?

I suggest you use KOL synapse. It has more working parts (sorry gandalf ;) and can be translated in full more easily. Not the indy problems Gandalf has experienced. If you explain to me what you want, i.e. mail, http, ?? I can give you examples. Until March 1 I am free to do so :) Indy is nice, but old winshoes is easier to translate to KOL. Busy doing it.

проблема такая:
имеется сервер, написан с использованием idTCPServer. Нужно к нему подключиться и обменяться кой-какой инфой.

Gandalf вроде бы успел более-менее перевести ICS, а Indy - это неудавшаяся попытка перевода.
