There are some problems with KOL and D2005:
I used the same trick as I used to create the sysdcu replacements for D4, but now the other way around: where I compiled the sysdcu sources for D5 with D4 (compiler almost the same) I now compiled the rtl from D7 with D2005 (backwards compatible!)

And adapt the include file ofcourse. I will post a full description later this week.

Достал Delphi8 с upd1. Никто не смотрел? Я правильно понял, что единственный способ избавиться от error: "нельзя использовать unsafe type в процедуре/функции, пока та не объявлена с новой директивой unsafe;" - это объявить каждую процедуру с этой директивой? Прямо паранойя какая-то получается...

Everything compiles OK without the updates, but the exes don't work ??? most of the time, unless it is something simple. Since the updates, nothing works...

p.s.:

There's a serious bug in listbox with align = caClient, did you know that?

I am in st Petersburg (for two weeks, language course) in July. Any cheap tickets available to cover the last 2000 miles to Siberia? :)

What the bug with listbox, Thaddy? I created test project in MCK, and it seems working normally. Though I do not use listbox in most cases preferring listview.

Most tickets are cost very similar and distinct in cost mostly of clasas rate. In fact, rail roads cheaper about twice but 3 days of travel on train are much more then 3 hours on air bus. If you still wish to go, you can mail me. But seriously I do not advice. There are no bears here, but... hm. Traveling without trusty guide in my country can finish very horribly way. For a best choice you just lost money, but this can be far worster. I have friends living in Germany, they are Germany citizens about 7 years already. Their parents are my neighbour and almost each year they visit them (mainly not alltogether though). They tell us that each time they have a lot of problems with our bureaucracy (and with their B. living here too): they just each time plunder their cash (все, уже не могу по английски, я только технический более менее знаю: наши бюрократы затягивают оформление документов и просто вымогают штрафы. Для них это обычная статья дохода). Кроме того, мои друзья стараются летать прямыми рейсами из Новосибирского аэропорта минуя посадки и пересадки в Москве. В столице моего государства имеется большое количество организованной преступности (от мошенников до милиции и таможенников), которые пользуются особым положением Москвы как перевалочной базы и чего только не придумывают чтобы ограбить путешественников.

А вообще, если не секрет, зачем в Сибирь, Thaddy? Для впечатлений и Москвы хватит. Я там правда последний раз был очень давно, 35 лет прошло. Но впечатления сохранились до сих пор, а Париж уже начал тускнеть, хотя от поездки по Европе прошло всего 7 лет :)

Oh, no! I have no W2K installed at home, only XP. So I can check it only 11-May (after big celebration end at my job office). Если кто-нибудь имеет сейчас 2К и может исправить и увидеть, что за баг только :(

При чем тут телевизор, мои сведения от конкретных людей. Одних я знаю лично, другие - знакомые моей супруги. Есть так же информация от коллег ездивших в командировку.

I have a new KOL website generator that is fully compliant to the w3c specs and want to use it for my website (improved xml objects, with xsl stylesheet support) But if nobody can see it, it would be (almost) useless. Oh, it is under 100k, uncompressed.

I noticed that Opera is standards compliant with XML/CSS but not with XML/XSL.
